Fabric Convention was originated 25 years ago as a small, innovative and friendly boutique style wholesale business providing quality fabrics from Europe to the soft furnishing industry in Australia.The then owners, Gottfried & Alana Hellmuth, had considerable artistic flair and set about expanding the business in their own inimitable style.
As the business grew so did the reputation of the company for offering a point of difference to the marketplace. Today, the company is owned by Damian and Tanya Towns, a husband and wife team, whose aim is to offer a small but collective range with a little something for everyone.
Fabrics are still imported from Europe, the UK and the USA with the emphasis being on excellent quality at a fair and reasonable price.
